ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Anyone who needs help keeping their outdoor dog warm in these extreme and dangerous temperatures can look to Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue in Anderson Township.

The nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter plans to provide straw, food, heat sources and possible boarding to dogs in need.

Taking a no-questions-asked approach, only the owner of the dog can contact Melissa@PPArescue@gmail.com or Sarah@PPArescue@gmail.com for more information. Requests can also be sent through their Facebook page.

Anyone looking to donate should take supplies to Peppermint Pig Thrift and Gift at 8255 Beechmont Avenue.

The rescue is also taking applications for foster homes, in case any of these animals need to be placed.
