CINCINNATI — A man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash that closed the Combs-Hehl Bridge for hours on Saturday, according to Cincinnati Police.

Officers responded to the crash on eastbound Interstate 275 just before 7:30 p.m. Police said the driver of a Ford F-150 failed to maintain distance between a Nissan Altima and rear-ended the vehicle. As a result, the Altima crashed into a Chevy Equinox, which then rear-ended a Honda Civic.

A passenger in the Altima, identified as 34-year-old Sean Wright, was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. Police said he was not wearing a seat belt.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

Police have yet to determine if speed or impairment were factors in Saturday's crash. No charges related to the crash have been filed at this time, according to Hamilton County court records.

Witnesses to this crash are asked to call the Cincinnati Police Department Traffic Unit at (513) 352-2514.
