TAYLOR MILL, Ky. -- Want to contribute to the battle against heroin and opiate addiction while getting some fresh air and exercise?

Judge/Executive Kris Knochelmann and Kenton County are partnering with the Taylor Mill City Commission to distribute informational door hangers on Saturday and hope at least 50 volunteers will assist.

Volunteers don't have to knock on doors -- they only must walk and help spread the word by leaving a door hanger with a sticky note at each house. Get your steps in for the day while playing a part in the battle against opiate and heroin addiction in our community.

Volunteers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Park Place Community Center at 5614 Taylor Mill Road.

If you're willing to help, please e-mail the County Digital Communications Coordinator Sara Sgantas at Sara.Sgantas@KentonCounty.org.
