INDEPENDENCE, Ky. -- Independence firefighters were surprised to find that someone paid for their cart full of groceries Saturday.
Crews had to leave their shopping cart at the Independence Kroger Saturday to go on an emergency run. When they returned, someone had paid for their food.
The kind stranger left a note that read “Thank you for all you do.”
