CRESCENT SPRINGS, Ky. -- Do you know a Vietnam War veteran who is missing a ring?

A Covington man found the ring at the Field and Stream store on Wednesday and is hoping to track down the rightful owner.

The finder said it appears the ring's owner served in the Marines in the late '60s and early '70s. There are initials and dates engraved inside the band that may help authenticate the owner should somebody step forward.

"This gentleman fought for us, so the least we can do is fight for him to return this," the finder told WCPO.

If the ring is yours, email Jason Strunk at or call WCPO at 513-852-4071.
