COVINGTON, Ky. -- The residents of Panorama Apartments recently defended their runners-up title in a national "Seniors Got Talent" contest with another second place finish in the 2016 contest.

Representatives from Seniors Guide Online will present them with a $500 award during their community Valentine's Day party at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The funds will be donated to the Panorama Benevolent Fund, which provided more than $6,000 in no-cost loans to 56 residents in 2016 to provide money for groceries, medication, medical bills and more.

“Neighbors helping neighbors is one of the best parts of living at Panorama. We are truly blessed to have such a caring community,” said Service Coordinator Nancy Hiltibrand in a news release.

Panorama Apartments entered the contest in October 2016 and had to garner as many votes as possible from November to December 2016.

Panorama Apartments are managed by Kentucky Senior Citizens Apartments (KSCA). They are a non-profit association founded in 1965. For 50 years, it has been the mission of KSCA to provide comfortable, enriching and affordable housing to persons of modest incomes enabling them to enjoy their independence for as long as possible.
