COVINGTON, Ky. -- A 61-year-old man walked into the Covington police headquarters Tuesday and said he killed his ex-wife, Covington police said.
After Timothy Rigg told police about the crime, detectives went to the home of Shealagh Goodridge, 64, and found her dead.
Covington police are still investigating the homicide and "circumstances leading up to and surrounding the incident."
Rigg was charged with murder and remains in the Kenton County Detention Center.
