COVINGTON, Ky. -- A two-alarm fire severely damaged two homes at the 1600 Scott Blvd., according to Kenton County dispatch.
All residents appear to have gotten out of the house safely, fire officials said. One of the houses is currently vacant.

Fire officials said they do not believe anyone was hurt in the fire, but neighbors said squatters have stayed in the vacant home on Scott Boulevard in the past.
