WHITEWATER TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A Green Township woman died after crashing on Interstate 275 late Sunday night, Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Neil said.

A driver spotted tire tracks leading to a car off the highway Monday morning.

Lynisha Pate, 33, was dead at the scene, the sheriff's office said.

Investigators think Pate was headed south on I-275 when she lost control near mile marker 19 at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Alcohol likely played a part in the fatal crash, the sheriff's office said, though it's still under investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 513-825-1500.
