A man shot a female victim and then, after a police pursuit, himself late Friday night. Police who responded to a call on Tag Drive discovered the woman's body and the suspect fleeing in a vehicle. He abandoned the car shortly afterward, according to officers on the scene, and ran to Adams Road, where they found him. After officers ordered him to drop his gun, he shot himself, police said. He survived the shot and was loaded into an ambulance by paramedics.

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A man shot a woman and then, after a police pursuit, himself late Friday night.
Police were called to Tag Drive at about 9:55 p.m. They found 21-year-old Kenesha Moore, of Fairfield, dead of multiple gunshot wounds.
The gunman reportedly drove away, according to Springfield Township police. Officers found his abandoned car shortly afterward, on Adams Road.
A canine officer tracked the man to Ripplebrook Drive.
After officers ordered him to drop his handgun, he shot himself, police said. He survived the shot, and paramedics took him to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
The suspect's name and medical condition have not been released, and he's not been charged.
