Being a high school athlete can be tough enough, but what if you added cystic fibrosis into the mix?

That’s what one Reading High School baseball star is facing, but he’s not letting it stop his game.

J.D. Vanover is the man on the mound for the Reading Blue Devils, a senior with a good arm, a good bat and a good glove.

But he also has cystic fibrosis, an incurable disease which coats his lungs with thick mucous.
