READING, Ohio — A Reading man has been arrested after allegedly abusing a 7-month-old girl in his care and causing multiple broken bones and bruises while in an "emotional rage," according to court documents.

Chase Fleek, 22, told police he put pressure on the infant's legs until her right one broke in multiple places on Feb. 29, court documents say.

Fleek also admitted to investigators he grabbed the infant's upper arms "aggressively and violently while in an emotional rage, causing her right arm to break.”

Then, Fleek sat the child on a table in his living room before walking away, “thus letting her fall off face first” and causing injuries.

Cincinnati Children's Hospital reported the injuries to Reading Police, leading to Fleek's arrest Wednesday.

Fleek was charged with felonious assault and two counts of endangering a child. He is currently being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center and is due in court Thursday morning.
