NORTH COLLEGE HILL, Ohio -- A woman faced a judge Tuesday after she was accused of crashing her car into a school building with two kids in the backseat, all while driving drunk.

Cassi Weakly, 34, was driving her car while drunk Monday with two kids in the backseat, when she crashed into the North College Hill School Administration Building, according to police.

"I come running out and I see a car that's actually crashed into our steps," Eugene Blalock Jr., the North College Hill Schools superintendent, said. "They were turning and lost control and whipped up here."

After crashing into the building, police said Weakley's passenger, Branderlyn Turner, 33, tried to run from the scene carrying a baby in her arms.

While Turner tried to run, Weakley tried to drive off. Blalock said he saw Weakley, "put the car in reverse and tried to leave and at that point they crashed into the sign."

After officers had Weakley in custody, they found her blood-alcohol level to be 0.13.

Weakley was charged with driving while intoxicated and endangering children, and her bond was set at $50,000.
