MOUNT HEALTHY, Ohio -- A new clothing line designed especially for curvy women will make its Queen City debut with a fashion show Oct. 16 at the Mount Healthy club Plush Reloaded.
Conceived and developed by Cincinnati resident Cleoyvante Longmire, Voluptuous Vibes is a T-shirt brand designed to enhance the body image and flatter the curves of voluptuous women. A news release said the clothing line provides a comfortable fit accentuating a woman’s voluptuous curves.
The event includes a Sip and Shop from 2 to 5 p.m., and the "Fashion Addict Beauty, Fashion, and Fun Showcase" will last from 5 to 8 p.m. to premiere all of the styles of clothing in the Voluptuous Vibes line. A news release said customers can order them as a fitted shirt or customized with bling or sliced with perfection to create your own original look. Voluptuous Vibes' designer called this clothing line very timely with the current media frenzy about “body shaming” and the trend of Americans becoming heavier. According to the Centers for Disease Control, 64 percent of Americans are overweight or obese.
