MOUNT HEALTHY, Ohio -- A driver fled the scene after hitting a child on Hamilton Avenue in Mount Healthy Thursday morning, according to authorities.
A driver in a white SUV hit the child at 7:22 a.m. at 7200 Hamilton Avenue and fled westbound on Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway.
The child sustained injuries that are not life threatening; first responders transported the child to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
