CINCINNATI -- Dogs need to celebrate National Ice Cream Day, too!
Pets in Need of Greater Cincinnati, a nonprofit that helps with veterinary and food costs, hosted their first annual ice cream social Sunday afternoon.
Ann Hill, executive director, said she wanted to hold the event to thank the community for supporting the organization over the last four years.
Pets in Need has helped thousands of animals, Hill said. In 2016, the organization provided 5,200 veterinary visits and helped pets from more than 1,900 households.
“We couldn’t of done it without the support of the community and the people we help,” Hill said.
If you’d like to help Pets in Need, Hill said the organization is always accepting cash or food donations. They are also looking for volunteers. Click here for more information.
