Authorities identify man shot dead in Lockland

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio — Authorities have identified the man who was shot dead in Lockland early Sunday morning.

Someone shot and killed 42-year-old Mohamed Ndiaye at about 2:30 a.m. on South Wayne Avenue near Millsdale Street, according to Sgt. Joseph Lee.

Hamilton County Criminal Investigation and Lockland police are handling the investigation. No information regarding a potential suspect has been released.

Investigators are asking those with information about the shooting to notify Lockland Police Department at 513-761-1699, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Section at 513- 851-6000, or Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
