A woman was shot and killed early Thursday morning in Forest Park, according to police.
Officers with the Forest Park Police Department responded to Geneva Road around 2:10 a.m. Thursday for reports of gunshots heard in the area.
When officers arrived on scene, they found 50-year-old Leslie Lawson shot multiple times inside of a residence. First responders pronounced Lawson dead at the scene.
There is no other information available at this time, and the Forest Park Police Department are investigating the incident.
