FAIRFIELD, Ohio -- Police have taken two suspects in a shooting into custody, thanks in part to tipsters.

Fairfield police sent out a notice last week that Josue Vargas and Edvin Rodas, both 21, were wanted in connection to a shooting Dec. 5 on Billy Circle in the Debbie Trailer Park.

Both men have been charged with aggravated robbery. Police said they're expected to appear in Fairfield Municipal Court this week.

Police said last week that the men were "considered armed and dangerous" and asked for tips about their whereabouts. Tuesday, they thanked everyone who called and said "the information helped to bring them both into custody quickly and safely."
