FAIRFIELD, Ohio -- The craft beer renaissance has been growing all over Ohio, and Jungle Jim's International Market plans to celebrate with its inaugural Buckeye Beer Bash to promote Ohio's beers and breweries.
From 6 to 10 p.m. July 30 at its Snake House, Jungle Jim's will offer dozens of beers from large and small cities around the state, live music from Strange Love, special appearances by NFL alumni and food from local trucks Bonelickers Smokehouse and Renegade Street Eats.
"There’s no pretension here, just great Ohio beers," Jungle Jim's officials wrote in a news release. "We’re celebrating the Buckeye State with a night full of some of the best Ohio breweries we could wrangle, all under one roof."
A $25 presale ($30 at the door) ticket gets you a glass for sampling and tickets for samples of the Ohio beers of your choice. Nondrinker tickets will be available at the door for $15.
This new event adds another celebration of beer from Jungle Jim's, after its International Beer Festival marked its 11th annual edition in mid-June.
