PD: 39 cars vandalized in Delhi Twp. subdivision

Posted

DELHI TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Thirty-nine cars parked in a subdivision Saturday night were the targets of vandalism, according to Delhi Township police.

According to Delhi PD Lt. Joe Macaluso, the cars were parked in the Delshire subdivision — which includes Glenhaven Road, Cloverhill Terrace and Copperfield and Penfield lanes — and had side mirrors broken off “by unknown means.”

Maculoso said officers believe the damage was done using a golf club, but could not confirm that information.

One victim recalled to police hearing two “loud thumps” around 3:30 a.m. Sunday and observing a smaller black vehicle with square brake lights, smaller reverse lights and a loud exhaust driving down the street.

Maculoso asked anyone with information into the damage — or anyone who lives in the area with outside security camera footage — to contact the Delhi Township Police Department at 513-922-0060.
