DELHI TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The father of a boy found walking alone Thursday morning has come forward, according to Delhi Township police.
Delhi police said a resident contacted officers at about 9:15 a.m. Thursday about a child found walking in the 1000 block of Beechmeadow Drive.
Officers canvased the area, but couldn't immediately locate the boy's parents or guardians. Hamilton County Job & Family Services responded to assist as well.
The father came forward after police put out an alert about the found child. The boy has been reunited with his family, police said.
Police and family services will continue to look into the situation to determine if any charges are appropriate, police said.
