PHOENIX, Ariz. – U.S. Marshals in Arizona arrested a man accused of raping an underage victim in Colerain Township.
John L. Noe, 27, was wanted by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office on two counts of rape, gross sexual imposition and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor for an alleged incident from October of 2015, authorities said.
A grand jury indicted Noe on the charges earlier this month.
Marshals received information that Noe had fled to Arizona. He was arrested in the Phoenix metro area.
Noe was being held by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office pending extradition back to Ohio.
“This serves as a reminder to those who prey on our citizens,” U.S. Marshal Pete Tobin said. “When law enforcement agencies work together, there is nowhere a fugitive can hide.”
