COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Two storage buildings behind a home in the 3000 block of Hyannis Drive caught fire at about 3:47 a.m. Monday, sparking the siding of the home and threatening a neighbor's garage.

All occupants escaped the home, and the fire was under control within 15 minutes after firefighters arrived, according to Colerain Township Fire Department spokesman Robert R. Rielage. A firefighter suffered burns to his face, arm and hand and had to be treated at the scene by paramedics.

The Colerain Township Fire Investigative Unit also responded and the cause and loss estimate were not immediately determined.

A unit from the Forest Park Fire Department assisted the seven Colerain fire units on the scene.
