COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio – A man almost drowned after he suffered a medical emergency while swimming in the Colerain YMCA pool Saturday.
The 50-year-old man was pulled from the water by a life guard, firefighters said. YMCA personnel were performing CPR and using an AED when paramedics arrived and took over patient care.
Paramedics re-established the man’s pulse on the way to Mercy Health – West Hospital, firefighters said.
