COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A police officer spent Friday night recovering after a three-car collision propelled one of the vehicles into the side of a house.
The officer, whose name police have not released, was responding to a call with her lights and siren on when a car pulled out in front of her. The resulting crash created a chain reaction, authorities said: the latter car was launched into the side of a house, and a third car was clipped in the confusion.
Despite the mess, no one was hurt.
Emergency vehicles with their lights and sirens on typically have the right of way, police said, but the crash was still being investigated Friday night and no charges had been filed.
