COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Four people -- all from New York and Georgia -- were arrested by Colerain Twp. Police Department for their involvement in a fake credit card operation.

Cynthia Lane, Alex Souffrant, Ervins Joseph and Nelson Emdee were arrested and charged with posessing criminal tools, forgery and tampering with evidence.

According to Colerain Twp. police, the group was manufacturing "credit cards" using information obtained by credit card skimmers. The cards were being manufactured in a Super 8 motel in Springdale. Numerous cards were found in the suspects' vehicles, police said.

Police were tipped off to the operation when a man's credit card number was skimmed, according to an affidavit. A Kroger employee identified Lane as the person who used the skimmed card's information; she attempted to buy $313 worth of gift cards at the Kroger store.

All four subjects are being held on bond at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
