A previous version of this story reported that the home dated back to 1865. This was a factual error: The Colerain Township Fire Department told WCPO that it was a Civil War-era structure, then later corrected itself and said the home had been built in the 1950s.
COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A home was destroyed in a fire Friday evening.
There were no injuries, according to firefighters, but they tweeted that the house was "a total loss."

The cause of the fire was still under investigation.
