Rookwood Art Director Mary Guanciale said the ornaments have been selling extremely well.
“We’ve seen unbelievable feedback from the community already, so we have a lot of people excited to come get theirs this weekend,” she said.
Twenty percent of proceeds from ornament sales will go toward the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden’s Conservation Fund, Guanciale said.
As of Friday afternoon, Rookwood had already donated over $27,000 to the Cincinnati Zoo.
The pottery shop is hosting an Open House event from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday where ornaments and other seasonal products will be available for purchase.
