CINCINNATI -- A Metro bus struck a female pedestrian Downtown Thursday night, Lt. Steve Saunders said.
The woman was hit at about 6:30 p.m. at Government Square near the intersection of Fifth and Main streets and pinned under the bus, according to Metro spokesperson Sallie Hilvers. The woman was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Police did not immediately disclose her identity or the extent of her injuries. Hilvers said the woman was conscious.
Hilvers said the driver has been with Metro a long time.
