14-year-old boy shot in Winton Hills, hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries

CINCINNATI — A 14-year-old boy was shot Monday night on Dutch Colony Drive in Winton Hills, according to police.

The victim was admitted to Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries shortly before 9 p.m., Capt. Jay Johnstone said.

Police did not disclose any additional details about the identity of the shooter or the circumstances leading to the incident.

The victim was the third teenager shot in Hamilton County in as many days. The other two, 17-year-old Isaac Moore and 16-year-old Eric Shields, died of their injuries.
