CINCINNATI -- Look how big and brave our favorite tiny hippopotamus is getting!
Fiona reached an important milestone on Thursday when zookeepers introduced her the indoor pools that her parents use at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden.
The pools were drained to a manageable depth for her and will become deeper as she masters propelling herself to the surface for air. Navigating in deeper water is just one of many things she must master before venturing into the outdoor hippo habitat.
