CINCINNATI -- On Fiona the hippo’s upcoming first birthday, one lucky person will be blessed with a kiss from the portly princess herself.
The Cincinnati Zoo announced Wednesday it would give away a one-of-a-kind “kiss” painting featuring an imprint of Fiona’s snout in purple paint.
To be eligible in a drawing for the prize, hippo-lovers will need to make a minimum $25 donation to the zoo’s Animals Depend On People Too (A.D.O.P.T.) program, which will contribute to the cost of Fiona’s care and enrichment activities.
