Tri-State residents can sign register book honoring late President George H.W. Bush

CINCINNATI — Tri-State residents who wish to honor George H.W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States, can write messages of condolences that will be sent to the late President Bush’s library in College Station, Texas.

A Cincinnati funeral home is inviting guests to stop by through Thursday to sign a register book for the elder Bush.

Residents can sign the register book or leave messages until 5 p.m. on Thursday at one of two locations:

  • Spring Grove Funeral Homes (main location): 4389 Spring Grove Ave.
  • Spring Grove Funeral Homes Tri County: 11285 Princeton Pike

The signed register books will be sent to the Bush family and to the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Center. Residents can leave an online message on the Spring Grove Funeral Homes obituary site as well.

Bush died on Nov. 30 at the age of 94 at his home in Houston. He served as president from 1989 to 1993. Bush's wife of 73 years Barbara died in April.
