CINCINNATI — Thanks to you, Toy Team 9 just had WCPO's most successful toy drive ever!

WCPO viewers and Kroger customers opened their hearts and wallets to make sure every child in our area gets a toy for Christmas by donating a record number - 10,613 - in just five hours on Dec. 7.

Since 2011, Toy Team 9 has assembled at Kroger locations across Greater Cincinnati to collect toys for children in need. Kroger, our generous sponsor, provides nine locations, staff support and a gift card for every organization. WCPO staff, local media celebrities and community groups volunteer to greet our wonderful donors.

Here's a list of the Kroger locations with the number of toys collected:

  • Union: 9001 U.S. Highway 42: 462
  • Fort Mitchell: 2150 Dixie Highway: 313
  • Liberty Township: 7300 Yankee Road: 1,412
