CINCINNATI — Thanks to you, Toy Team 9 just had WCPO's most successful toy drive ever!
WCPO viewers and Kroger customers opened their hearts and wallets to make sure every child in our area gets a toy for Christmas by donating a record number - 10,613 - in just five hours on Dec. 7.

Since 2011, Toy Team 9 has assembled at Kroger locations across Greater Cincinnati to collect toys for children in need. Kroger, our generous sponsor, provides nine locations, staff support and a gift card for every organization. WCPO staff, local media celebrities and community groups volunteer to greet our wonderful donors.

This is cool. An XU fan donated two shopping carts full of toys, we then made an appeal on @WCPO for a UC backer to see or raise and Larry came up big. https://t.co/Bg51pCi4hF
