CINCINNATI — Three teenage males were transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center after being shot in Mt. Airy Saturday evening, according to Cincinnati police.

Police said all three victims are young, ages 15, 15 and 19. Their injuries are serious, but all are considered in stable condition. Police said they all received surgery at UCMC.

Officers responded to Bahama Terrace Saturday night and found two victims in the back of the Hawaiian Terrace apartments, outside an apartment. They said they believe the incident began in the basement laundry room, however, where authorities found a third victim.

Police have been unable to talk to the injured teens because of the severity of their injuries, but they said more than one gun was involved in the shooting and there were multiple shots fired.

An officer in the Bahama Terrace said they have stepped up the frequency of patrols to the area to cut down the chance of any kind of retaliatory violence.

No suspect information is available at this time.
