CINCINNATI — Sorry, kids: Your snow day is canceled. Predictions of heavy rain leading into the weekend forced The Banks to nix its planned Snow Banks event for Friday and Saturday, according to a Thursday afternoon news release.
Anyone who had already purchased a ticket for one of the canceled dates will be able to use it for admission on any remaining 2020 Snow Banks date, spokeswoman Jackie Reau wrote.
Snow Banks will re-open Sunday at noon.
The weekly event is a Cincinnati first in 2020, bringing real snow and traditional winter activities to Freedom Way every Friday through Saturday in January.
