CINCINNATI — A man was killed and two others were injured when they were hit by a vehicle that left the road and drove up on the sidewalk Sunday night, according to Cincinnati Police.

CPD responded to the crash around 10:20 p.m. Sunday night. Officials said the driver of a 2010 Ford F-150 jumped the curb on Harrison Avenue in South Fairmont, hitting three pedestrians on the sidewalk.

Police said 66-year-old Ronald Bardo was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others on the sidewalk with him sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The driver sustained minor injuries, but police said he didn't require medical treatment.

The investigation into the crash is still pending and police have not yet said whether the driver of the Ford will be charged with anything. Whether excessive speed or impairment played a factor in the crash is still yet to be determined.
