CINCINNATI -- Crews recovered a body from the Ohio River in Sayler Park Wednesday afternoon.
The body was spotted near Forbes Road, and officials began searching at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Sgt. Joseph Briede said the person was a white man.
Police said the man appeared to be in his 30s, and his body could have been in the river for up to 36 hours before they found him. He was wearing pants and socks and there were no obvious signs of trauma.
The body was recovered where the Muddy Creek flows into the river. The location is just downstream from Fernbank Park and Cabana On The River.
The coroner has not yet decided a cause of death.
