CINCINNATI — A man is dead after a Saturday afternoon shooting near a Roselawn apartment complex, the Cincinnati Police Department (CPD) said.
CPD said the shooting occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Summit Road near the Roselawn Summit Apartments.
A man, identified as Kenny Townsend, 35, was found shot. The Cincinnati Fire Department arrived at the scene and began life-saving measures and determined that Townsend was deceased.
CPD did not have any information about what led up to the shooting or about any suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
