CINCINNATI -- A 9-month-old baby boy was transported unconscious but breathing to Children's Hospital Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The baby had fallen into a bucket of water at his family's home on Glenmeadow Lane, according to police, and a family member found him still in the bucket.
Officer Martin Mac of the Cincinnati Police Department said the incident should remind other parents not to leave their children alone around standing water.
"Children are curious, and you don't know what will happen if you turn your back," he said.
The infant was in stable condition Tuesday night, police said.
