CINCINNATI – A 22-year-old woman died from injuries she suffered in a crash Friday morning.

Ashanti Cooper was driving a 1999 Honda Accord northbound on Clifton Avenue at about 5:55 a.m. when she crossed into the southbound lanes and struck a telephone pole, police said.

Cooper was critically injured and she died from her injuries at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

She was not wearing a seatbelt, police said. Speed did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
