CINCINNATI -- Police requested the public’s help Monday locating Michael Schmidt-Bell, a 20-year-old man with "violent tendencies" who may currently be armed.

According to a notice from the Cincinnati Police Department, Schmidt-Bell went missing Saturday afternoon. Although he has made contact with his guardians since that time, he refused during these conversations to reveal his location.

Schmidt-Bell has bipolar disorder and is on the autism spectrum, according to police, and is off medication. Additionally, he “is armed with at least three knives (and) stating he would slit his throat,” the notice said.

Anyone with information about Schmidt-Bell’s location should contact Cincinnati police.
