CINCINNATI – Police are seeking information related to a sexual assault and released a sketch of the assailant Friday.

The assault occurred in the 1100 block of Seton Avenue June 11.

The assailant is about age 35-40, 5’8” with a tall thin build and dark skin, police said. He was wearing a plaid short-sleeve shirt over a muscle shirt, dark blue jeans with a red belt and white gym shoes. He had yellow whites to his eyes, very long fingernails and yellowish palms.

Will Johnston, who lives near the scene of the assault, said he is now on the lookout for the assailant.

"Don't let us catch him," Johnston said. "I mean, this neighborhood's really gone downhill over the last few years, so don't let us catch him around here."

The Cincinnati Police Department's statistical profile of the area shows that the rate of sexual assaults in the 20 square mile radius of the scene is 19 percent higher than the city's three-year average.

Police asked that anyone with information call the Personal Crimes Unit at 513-352-3542 or Crimestoppers at 513-352-3940.
