CINCINNATI — A man is behind bars with a broken leg after, police say, he crashed a car he had carjacked just moments prior.
According to police on the scene of the crash at Enright Ave. and Eighth St. in East Price Hill, a woman walked into Cincinnati Police District 3 headquarters and told officers a man with a gun carjacked her.
Officers said they spotted the vehicle at Harrison Ave. and Eighth St., where a chase ensued, and that the man struck a fire hydrant and crashed into another vehicle.
The driver suffered a broken leg as a result of the crash.
Police charged the man with menacing, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and eluding police.
