CINCINNATI -- Police have identified two men who were killed in a fiery crash this week.
Thomas Pressley, 32, was driving a rented 2016 Toyota Camry west on Center Hill Avenue in Winton Hills just after 2 a.m. April 10 when he lost control and the car went off the road and hit a utility pole, police said in a news release.
Myron Barker, 32, was a passenger in the rear seat, police said.
The vehicle caught on fire after the crash.
Both men were critically injured and died from their injuries at the scene, according to police.
Earlier, police had said it was difficult to identify the people inside because of the fire.
Investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash. They weren't immediately sure if the men were wearing seatbelts or if impairment played a role.
The investigation is still underway. Police asked that any witnesses call the Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
