Police: 6-year-old boy struck by driver in South Fairmount

CINCINNATI — A driver struck a 6-year-old boy on Queen City Avenue in South Fairmount Thursday morning, according to Lt. Steve Saunders.

Cincinnati officers responded to the scene at about 7:30 a.m.

Saunders said the boy may have a broken leg and was taken to the hospital for treatment. His injuries are not life-threatening.

It’s unclear if the child was in a crosswalk when he was hit. The driver involved is cooperating in the investigation, police said.
