CINCINNATI -- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash after he lost control and hit a utility pole in East Walnut Hills, Cincinnati police said.
Thirty-four-year-old Pierre Beal Jr. was driving a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle westbound on William Howard Taft Road when he struck the pole and a fire hydrant at about 11:20 p.m. Sunday near Collins Avenue.
Cincinnati police and Ohio State Patrol responded to the scene, and the Cincinnati Police Department is handling the investigation. Police said excessive speed is a factor in this crash and that Beal was not wearing a helmet.
The Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation and any witnesses to this crash are asked to contact the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
