CINCINNATI -- Drivers on Interstate 71 may hit an unusual roadblock Wednesday afternoon: a waterfall.

The water spilled down a retaining wall just south of the Norwood Lateral. Police blocked the right two lanes. It was cleared up and the lanes were reopened before 6:30 p.m.

That stretch is near Oakley Station. Industrial properties sit immediately next to the highway.

Lt. Steve Saunders, with the Cincinnati Police Department, said it appeared to be a water main break. Crews with Greater Cincinnati Water Works and the Ohio Department of Transportation went out to fix it.
