CINCINNATI -- We're getting one step closer to the 17th annual MidPoint Music Festival in September as organizers have just released the daily band lineup and announced that single-day tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

MidPoint Music Festival features more than 50 local, regional, national and internationally recognized acts on Sept. 23 and 24 across four stages at the Taft Theatre, the Cincinnati Masonic Center and an outdoor stage on Fifth Street at Broadway in downtown Cincinnati.

The lineup for Saturday, Sept. 23 will feature: The New Pornographers, Broken Social Scene, Frightened Rabbit, Filthy Friends, Valerie June, Citizen, Preoccupations, Pile, The Cactus Blossoms, William Elliott Whitmore, Bedouine, Welles, Adam Torres, DYAN, AMPLINE, David Luning, Mad Anthony, Virginia Man, Swarming Branch, Kid Stardust, Even Tiles, Youth Yamada, Lemon Sky, The Speedbumps, Saturn Batteries, Blossom Hall, Rachel Mousie, and Lo, The Loyal Conscripts.

The lineup for Sunday, Sept. 24 will feature: Walk The Moon, BADBADNOTGOOD, Noname, Dan Deacon, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Mandolin Orange, Charly Bliss, Flint Eastwood, The Ghost Of Paul Revere, Urban Renewal Project, Harbour, Amy O., Jeremy Pinnell, Young Heirlooms, Automagik, LEDGES, B.Miles, Daniel In Stereo, Varsity, Sphynx, Edward & Jane, Bicentennial Bear, A Delicate Motor, Moonbeau, Current Events, Coastal Club and The Long Lost.

MidPoint Music Festival will also feature local restaurant and craft beer vendors and some of Cincinnati’s top artisan flavors, all adding to the inclusive atmosphere.

Single-day tickets will go on sale at 11 a.m. Wednesday at $65 per day. Weekend passes are already on sale and available for a limited time for $115. All tickets can be purchased at the Taft Theatre Box Office, the Riverbend Music Center Box Office, MPMF.com and Ticketmaster.com (plus applicable fees online, no service fees if purchased at a box office).

VIP tickets are also available for $225, offering an enhanced experience with VIP-only viewing access at each stage, an indoor, air-conditioned VIP-exclusive lounge, a special MPMF17 laminate and T-shirt, five free drinks each day and an invitation to catered VIP receptions each evening, with complimentary food and a private bar.

A special kick-off celebration will take place on Friday, Sept. 22 at Memorial Hall as part of The Longworth-Anderson Series that will feature Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires. Tickets for this stand-alone concert event are on sale now at the website here. The Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires kick-off celebration requires a separate ticket for entry and is not included as part of a MidPoint Music Festival Weekend Pass.

Founded in 2001 and purchased by Cincinnati CityBeat in 2008, MidPoint Music Festival is an indie-focused music festival centered around Cincinnati’s historic Downtown entertainment district. The festival has grown over the years to include such diverse artists as Band of Horses, Reggie Watts, Purity Ring, Bob Mould, Grizzly Bear, Kamasi Washington, and The Afghan Whigs.
